Did Carrie call you?
Carrie calls because your provider asked her to. She's part of the follow-up your care team planned for you, and everything you tell her goes back to them.
You said yes to these calls
Your consent is part of the paperwork you signed with your practice. If you'd rather not get calls, tell Carrie or tell your practice. That's it.
You can always reach a person
Call your practice at the number on your paperwork, any time. Carrie can also connect you to them during a call. Just ask.
Carrie doesn't decide your care
She follows a care plan your doctors wrote and approved. She never diagnoses or prescribes. Your care team does. She checks in, listens, and makes sure they know what you need.
If this is an emergency, call 911.
If you're in crisis or thinking about suicide, call or text 988, any hour.
